Local small businesses have shoestring advertising budgets and can’t afford to spend thousands of dollars on yellow page advertising or on Google pay-per-click Ads. So here are four free advertising tips to help you save thousands of dollars a months and still get more value from each dollar you spend.

You can use these Four free advertising Tips as much and as
you need to.

Free Online Advertising Tip #1 – Register for a free http://104inc.com business account .

When you register you can take advantage of their ”Free” basic listing. This will allow your business to be listed on over 2000+ websites for free. Registering on 104inc.com alone will help your website/store increase online and foot traffic; generate quality leads from targeted local customers. They also offer 45 day free trial of the upgraded package if you fully want to take advantage of their powerful lead generating tools.

Free Online Advertising Tip #2 - Send a press release or newsletter.

You always have the opportunity to write a newsletter or press releases monthly to promote your business. This is one of the best free advertising tips for you to take advantage of.

This monthly newsletter or press release can be mailed or e-mailed to your customers and update them on a unique product or service you offer.

Make your release interesting and offer discounts or sales to
your business clients.

People love success stories so make sure to spotlight a success story from the past month or quarter. You might talk about a new product or a client who found success using your product or service.

Then once it is finished, you can submit it to local
news outlets or you can publish it online.

The best place to release your story is by using the website at http://104News.com. When you visit the site click on “feedback” on the top right hand side of the website and submit your story.

These first two tips will really help in your quest for free online advertising.

Free Online Advertising Tip #3 – Write an article.

This is the most commonly used free online advertising
tips because it simple and works very well.

There are hundreds of places you can post your articles online on a variety of topics.

All you have to do is find a few that deal with your business. You can find a complete list of domains at 104Articles.com then click on the “tab” (More 104 Sites).

Then you simply write up a 100-400 word article and submit
it to the editors of your chosen 104Articles.com or any other website in the 104inc community.

You will be able to put a link to your website at the end
of your article or the link to your free advertisement profile at 104inc.com (refer to free online advertising tip #1 to set up a profile).

This is where you will put your contact information for
your business.

This is a favorite of the free advertising tips and has
been used for years by many successful small and large businesses.

Free Online Advertising Tip #4 – Use your vehicle.

One of the most unused free advertising tips is by using
your cars, trucks or vans to advertise your small business.

If you think about it, you or your employees drive around for many different reasons. If you have a sign or window sticker, you can attract many new potential clients without much effort.

All you need to do is put your company logo on a license
plate or just place a window sticker at the rear of your vehicle.

Please make sure that your logo and contact information is clear and simple. You need to make sure to put this window sticker where it easily can be seen.

One of the benefits of advertising with you car is the potential tax deductions involved. Make sure to talk to your tax advisor or visit 104Accountant.com to find one near you.

If you have any questions about anything you have read today. Please visit 104Solution.com and click “contact us” to ask your questions.

Hope I have been able to save you some money with these free advertising
tips.

Put them to use and save as much money as you can!

Online advertising has become a very popular way for both small and large businesses to promote their goods and services. Advertising your business online can help you reach large numbers of potential customers and is usually an effective way for you to increase your sales.

One type of online advertising is Cost Per Action, or CPA advertising. This is also sometimes referred to as Pay Per Action, or PPA, advertising. Your business’s cost for this method of advertising is determined by how many times Web site visitors follow through with a particular action. In other words, your advertising cost is directly related to activities your advertisement viewers complete.

You are the one that will determine the actions that lead to your advertising costs. Depending on your type of business, a required action could be designated as submitting a form for product or service information, registration with your Web site, or purchasing a product or service from your business. You can choose one or more actions that will be the basis for your advertising costs. The various actions carry different advertising charges. You can adjust the required actions to accommodate your advertising needs and budget.

Cost Per Action advertising is the preferred method of online advertising for many businesses. You will only be charged for advertising when Web site visitors click on your online ad, connect to your Web site, and then perform a specific action that indicates they are interested in your product or service. Many times, potential customers will click on an interesting ad, review the business’s Web site, and then decide they are not really interested in what the business has to offer.

With Cost Per Action advertising, you can have an unlimited number of people connect to your Web site through your online ad, but you will only pay advertising costs for the number of people that actually follow through with a desired action, such as placing an order for goods or services.

Another advantage of Cost Per Action advertising is that you will be directed to potential customers that have a genuine interest in your specific product or service.

Most Web site visitors will not take the time to fill out a registration or information request form unless they think it will be to their advantage to do so. Visitors who honestly feel your business can benefit them in some way will fill out your Web site forms, and you will be able to gather a good collection of potential customer names.

You will be able to focus your attention on these visitors, without wasting your time, effort and money on visitors that viewed your site but are not sincerely interested in what your business offers.

Cost Per Action advertising is a bit more costly than other types of online advertising, but it may be easier on your advertising budget in the long run. You will only be paying charges according to the number of visitors that actually complete specific actions instead of according to the total number of visitors that view your advertisement.

It may or may not work for you based on what you’re advertising but it’s definitely worth researching it more.

I was just on holiday in France. Fantastic time, very relaxing and it led me to miss some deadlines. Shame on me, however I think that it is positive that I can still lose myself and let things go. One of very interesting experiences during my trip was staying in a village with no advertising at all (and no internet connection). At first, I didn’t noticed this, after a while I was wondering what’s wrong here. There was something missing in the landscape. And finally I realized – there was no advertising around me! I wandered through streets searching for some commercial message. There was none! I was pretty impressed by it and it made to think about the impact advertising has on people and its role in our culture.

Advertising has become part of our culture; there is nothing new in it. It is almost triviality to say it. It has its opponents and advocates. It is interesting, it is exciting and it is hard to imagine the world without it. We have faced lately the discussion about Heinz commercial that focused on stereotypes, homophobia, etc., not to mention Bob Garfield’s Open Letter to Omnicom President-CEO John Wren about his advertising agencies being politically incorrect. You could believe that are more serious problems bugging our world, not just silly advertising. How can two kissing men become such an issue that it kicks fierce debate off and takes a lot of prime time on TV? Because we take commercials seriously, as the part of culture that shapes people’s minds and attitudes. Advertising doesn’t just carry ideology, advertising is ideology itself. Advertising is contemporary ideology and myth. You are worth it.
Myths are built of symbolic expressions, emotions and ideals that are specific for the culture. Advertising is myth itself as it is claims to dictate who the ideal beauty is, how to take care for your home and what the best nutrition is for you and your family. Advertising creates role models that fit into every day life situations from nutrition, through sex, work and education. People tend to follow those role models and replay them in their life in order to live in keeping with social and cultural norms, make their life easier and more fulfilling. Advertising is a myth that pictures the appropriate lifestyle and proper values. Further on, advertising creates a new myth – myth of human obsessed with consumption that secures happiness – clothes that symbolize success, hair coloring shampoo that makes you look younger, cereals that make you healthy and perfume that makes you more desirable and give you control. B. Malinowski said that culture is the mechanism that satisfies human needs and desires. We all crave for health, love and safety and here comes advertising to save us with its ready-to-use solutions how to satisfy those needs. (Did advertising become important cultural tool for survival?) Persons from advertising embody our needs and desires and make them easy to satisfy. The fulfillment is a few blocks away, on the shelf of the local store. The road to our salvation goes through flicking screens and it isn’t demanding. It is convenient, the way we want it and like it. From Chaos to Order

Advertising rules the world being the guide to successful lifestyle for some and art for others. It is the modern parable, showing us the role models and how to live. Its goal is to bring us round to that it tells the truth. Advertising myth tells about moving from chaos to order – from being overweight to being fit and hot. Myth is timeless and sacralizes everyday. Every day can be sacred thanks to the advertised products. We need and crave more and more. Products and services become essential. Advertising becomes the guide through life. Advertising teaches us what reality is. The line between media and reality is vague. They melt and we can no longer tell what affects our behavior. We can’t any longer tell where media ends and reality begins. We can’t, because the passage is seamless. Media and advertising enforces the vision of world where we lose the ability to distinguish the natural needs form the artificial ones driven by advertising. I’ve once heard that without advertising we would feel as being on the desert island. I’ve not felt like being on the desert island during my vacation but I felt awkward because I am used to advertising. What’s my point? We can’t fight against advertising; it is the part of the culture. We need to accept it and understand it. We can laugh at it, we can condemn it or we can love it but it is the background of our life and the picture of who we are (rather then whom we want to be). Happy summer to you all.

Emotions evoke change

Social advertising (public service advertising) is the form of advertising that is designed to educate or motivate people to undertake socially desirable actions. Emotions are a basic component of advertising, and especially of social advertising. Emotions have a huge influence on perception, remembering, recall as well as change in attitudes and behavior. Emotions help people to remember the situations and messages in which they appeared, they evoke physiological changes as well as changes of perception (halo effect), reduce criticism and rational thinking abilities. Those changes have a strong impact on people and can motivate them to act, follow the suggestions expressed in advertising and deliver the promise of satisfaction.

Emotions can be divided into 2 continuums: Positive vs. Negative, Rational vs. Emotional.

Social ads use the wide range of emotions to influence our behavior. They scare us, affect us, sadden us, make us laugh or anger us. Rational arguments aren’t enough to change behavior or attitudes.

There are two types of social advertising:

Ads that warn us against dangerous behavior or prod us to change behavior for our own good. Ads that invite us to help others.

Both forms of advertising are based on emotion. Warning ads create the threat (car accident, death), present the cause of the threat (driving under the influence of alcohol) and show the solution of how to avoid the consequences (don’t drink and drive). They both refer to negative consequences and evoke fear. Click here for an ad from The Danish Road Safety Organization.

However, too heavy a load of negativity can have the reverse effect on the viewer, creating psychological discomfort and leading them to reject the message.

Ads that make people want to help each other are based on the effectiveness of compassion, message comprehension and the availability of the viewer’s means to help. More people will donate money in the form of a text message (SMS message) while sitting on their sofa in front of the TV, than will make a bank transfer. Click here for an example.(See translation at the end of the article.)

“Papa don’t preach” – the spiral of change

Social advertising can’t be sententious because we can’t limit all social problems to simple and predictable explanations and solutions. Social advertising should give a voice to those who never had it, and those who never have a chance to stand up and tell about the problem while using an honest and authentic voice. In social advertising, there is no place for taking problems with a grain of salt. Social advertising covers serious and fundamental human problems like human suffering and moral choices. It requires both serious and real solutions.

However, the cause and the emotions aren’t enough to create societal change. They teach, warn, shock, etc., but a month long campaign against drinking and driving will not change behavior. Emotions need to work out the mind, they need time to build ways to our conscience and subconscious like ants build corridors in an anthill.

Social advertising needs to have a long term strategy and deep understanding of human motivations in order to achieve its goal – change in behavior or/and attitudes – spiral of change.

There is no recipe written on how to create an effective social campaign. Measuring a social campaign’s effectiveness is difficult and rare. Social advertising is too important to be left out to chance. Measuring recall isn’t enough. Effectiveness of social advertising should be measured on three levels; motivation, engagement and recall: the higher the motivation and engagement; the better the effectiveness of advertising in terms of generating a change.

Attention is scarce, Sex is wanted

Today, social advertising shares the same problems as commercial advertising: dull sensitivity, immunity to advertising messages, scarce attention, increasing clutter and choices. Advertisers are forced to use nontraditional and sometimes controversial means in order to get their messages through to their viewers.

There is more social advertising that uses humor and sex in the fight for viewers’ attention. Speed Bandits is the campaign from The Danish Road Safety Organization (2006) made as an American news report, where the focus is set on the “liberal” Denmark for taking the creative initiative in combating speed violations in Copenhagen. Topless models are seen waiving around speed limit signs, hoping to attract the attention of the passing-by-drivers to the speed limitations. Speed Bandits’ movie became one of the most viral films on the Internet. The viral character of the campaign attracted millions of viewers to the campaign site and created a lot of attention from both target groups and traditional media. The latter one increased the effectiveness of the campaign and reached the general public by giving it lots of media space. In the first week alone, the campaign was seen 1 million times. Watch it here.

With a contagious movie, lots of attention and buzz there is still the key question left – did the campaign reduced speed violations? Research conducted for the Danish Road Safety Council had shown that out of the targeted drivers, 30% thought more of their speed as a result of the film. Statistics for persons killed in traffic accidents shows increase from 306 in 2006 to 400 in 2007. Another example of a very viral movie using not only sex but also humor is the campaign from The Danish Cancer Organization against tanning beds. They use Mascha Vang, reality TV star. This is really great idea; it generated lots of views, comments and laughs about the model and the ending. Though, the question about the effectiveness of the campaign is still open.

Conclusions

Changing behavior isn’t an easy task. As I mentioned earlier, it requires strong strategic work, engagement and understanding of human motivations. People don’t exist in a vacuum. Advertising alone, no matter how viral it is, will never change or shape human behavior and attitudes. All gimmicks are allowed to catch people’s attention, but they aren’t enough. Getting people to laugh or cry doesn’t guarantee they will take action. Social advertising only makes sense when it gets people thinking and talking about the social problems. Effective social advertising needs to be able to ignite a social debate.

*Translation of the ad for Folkenskirke Nodhjelp agitating for donation for kids in Africa: Yes, yes, I know you want money, but money don’t hang on trees. And I also have things I need to take care for. Besides, cash, there are no people who have cash on them. So just let it be. (Picture of African children) yeah, that’s the way it is. Use your herd power. Come on!

(Text) Welcome kindly those who collect money on Sunday. If you want to help, have money ready.

Times are tough all over.

Small businesses especially are feeling the squeeze as credit dries up, and customers stash their wallets under lock and key.

Yeah, times are tough.

And when times are tough, one of the first things to happen in the small business world are budget cuts. Guess which line item is one of the first to get cut? Yup…advertising. (How’d you guess?)

It’s understandable…you have to cut somewhere. But when you cut your ad budget, you may be cutting in the wrong place.
In the 25 years I’ve worked in the advertising and marketing business, I’ve seen several recessions come and go. And I’ve seen lots of ad budgets cut because of it. But one thing I’ve learned is the company that seriously cuts its ad budget often lives to regret it.

Think about it. Why do you advertise in the first place? To increase sales. Doesn’t it make sense, then, that during tough times when sales go down, you should advertise even more? Besides, what do you think happens if you cut your ad budget, but your competitors don’t? They get the sales you might have had if you hadn’t cut your advertising budget. When you stop advertising your sales go down. That’s on top of your sales going down because of the recession in the first place.

So what do you do? You lose business if you stop advertising, but you really need to save money any way you can. I have two pieces of advice. The first is to go into recession advertising mode. Tighten up the things you can tighten. Maybe even start looking at advertising in ways you haven’t tried before.

Here are some ideas to get you started.

1. Know your target customer. When the string’s pulled tight on your advertising budget, you don’t have any wiggle room to chase customers who will never buy from you, or hire your services. The idea here is that knowing your customer means you also know what newspapers they read (and what sections), what radio stations they listen to, what tv channels they watch, what interests and hobbies they have, etc. All of which helps you narrow down the best media channels in which to reach them. If you’ve never taken time to determine who your target is, go to my website (www.businessburrito.com) and click on “Marketing.”

2. Target your message. What is the one thing you do better than your competitors? Centering your marketing and advertising messages around your one thing is always the best way to get the most bang for the buck, but this matters even more is recession advertising. If you’re advertising to the right target, with the right message, in the right media outlets, you are going in with surgical precision, not with a shotgun blazing everything in sight. And that means you get a better return on your investment.

3. Negotiate your media buys. If times are tight for you, chances are they’re pretty tight for the media outlets as well. Which means they may be even more willing to negotiate deals, as well as offering more specials. Even in good times, don’t ever pay media retail. Media reps will usually negotiate in some way for your business. This may take the form of throwing in more insertions, better time slots, sponsorships…sometimes even reduced prices (especially if you sign a 12-month contract). Don’t be afraid to ask for what you need.

4. Advertise on the Internet. This works best if you have a website and use it to sell products, information, or services, or if you use it to direct your customers to your bricks and mortar business. Google AdWords program lets you target specific keywords and place ads that direct your traffic to a specific landing page. Whenever anyone “clicks” on your ad, you pay a specific amount of money. This is called “Pay Per Click” advertising, or PPC. In essence, you are pre-qualifying your traffic, so all you pay for are people who are looking for what you are selling. There are all sorts of other advertising opportunities on the Internet: From PPC to banner ads to ezine advertising. Search “internet advertising” and see what you find!

5. Consider radio. Radio can be one of the most cost-effective mediums out there. Why? Because it can effectively target your consumer, usually for less money than other mediums.

6. Email. Guess what…email costs almost nothing except time! If you have an email list, all you have to do is start emailing your customers with specials, coupons, news and info…the possibilities are endless. If you don’t have an email list, start building one today! Collect email addresses as you check customers out; keep a pad by the cash register for them to sign up in exchange for 10% off their next purchase (or some other incentive). There’s no excuse NOT to be doing this.

7. Co-op advertising. Is there another business that is compatible and complementary to yours with which you could team up to advertise, and thus share advertising costs? A strategic partnership with other quality businesses can create a win-win situation.

Okay, I said I had two pieces of advice. The second one is…increase your advertising! I know…you were about to cut your advertising budget out entirely until you read this article. But if you are thinking of cutting it, doesn’t it stand to reason that your competitors are considering the same thing?

If you increase your advertising at a time when your competitors are cutting back, just think how much more visible to the consumer you’ll become! You didn’t become a small business owner by not knowing how to take calculated risks. This is one that could pay off big-time.

When you advertise, you are building your brand. When you stop advertising and putting your brand in front of the consumer, your brand starts losing its power. Therefore, when you stop advertising during rough times, you are throwing away an investment that may have taken you years to build.

Since 1994, when banner advertising first appeared on the internet, there has been a considerable increase in its use in online marketing. Anyone who is serious about online advertising should learn more about using banner advertising as an integral part of their website marketing plan.

A web banner advertising campaign will display an advertisement thousands of times to targeted visitors of other websites and is an effective form of website promotion. Banner advertising is a great way to promote a website and is a form of advertising that exposes an internet advertising banner in a prominent location on relevant websites.

Web banner advertising is an excellent way to promote brand awareness, increase visitor traffic and generate sales. It is the equivalent of newspaper or magazine advertising in the online world. Banners are often animated to capture the attention of the visitor, and can display a variety of images and information including a company logo. An internet advertising banner can be linked to a specific page of a website that is relevant to the products or services being advertised, this will enable a visitor to click through to a web page and immediately view further information and purchase the products or services.

The success of an internet advertising banner depends on how effectively it is designed and the creativity used in the banner. The objective is to create a design that grabs the attention of visitors. This can be achieved by using a good combination of colors, some form of animation and a catchy strap line. Animated banners are a great way to catch the eye of potential customers. Flash banners in particular can have very rich animated content with a very small file size.

The success of the banner design can be measured by the number of visitors that click through to the target web page. Normally an internet advertising banner that offers some sort of incentive to the visitor will achieve a higher click through rate.

Banner sizes are measured in pixels, the most popular banner size is 468×60. However there are many different sizes and shapes available and an effective online banner advertising campaign should contain a mix of these. Skyscrapers in particular can be very effective as they are displayed down the side of a web page and therefore stay in view for longer as the user scrolls down the page. An ideal mix of sizes for a campaign would be as follows:

Banners (468×60)
Leaderboards (728×90)
Skyscrapers (120×600)
Rectangles (300×250)

Costs for banner advertising campaigns vary widely, according to the required targeting options, the size of banners used and the volume of inventory purchased. Web banner advertising campaigns can be purchased on either a CPM basis (cost per thousand impressions) or on a CPC basis (cost per click).

Purchasing a banner advertising campaign on a cost per click basis is the most sensible option for a company that has no previous experience of this type of advertising. This will enable a fixed budget to be agreed for a guaranteed number of clicks and the publishing network take the risk of displaying the banner (impressions) as many times as required to ensure the agreed number of clicks are achieved. However if a company has previous experience of this type of advertising and has achieved a high click through rate for previous campaigns, then it may be more cost effective to purchase the inventory on a CPM basis.

Online banner advertising campaigns can be set up to target specific countries, regions such as Europe or even Worldwide. Demographic targeting options are also available to fit the target audience for specific products or services. There are many different publishing networks to choose from and each network offers varying levels of geographic, demographic and behavioral targeting.

Web banner advertising is highly measurable and reports can be generated to track the number of impressions served, click through rates and sales conversion rates. Reliable campaign statistics can provide a wide range of information that can be used to improve the response rate for future internet advertising banner campaigns.

As a form of website promotion, online banner advertising is cost effective and compares favorably with other forms of online advertising such as search engine pay per click campaigns.

While many people know that Craigslist is some sort of website where you can advertise to buy and sell things, many still don’t know about the powerful and diverse ways Craigslist advertising can be used. According to the Craigslist fact sheet they get more than 9 billion page views per month and more than 30 million people, including more than 25 million in the US alone, use Craigslist each month, so obviously a lot of people do have a good understanding of the services offered by Craigslist advertising. . For those who are still unsure about what Craigslist is, this article will give them an appreciation for the power of Craigslist advertising.

Craigslist advertising is similar to the classified area of a newspaper where people can either put in advertisements or answer existing ones. Just like the newspaper Craigslist has categories for all the different advertisements to make it easy to find them. If you are new to Craigslist advertising or an old hand in the online advertising arena you will find some different ways to use the power of Craigslist. This article will discuss the following ways visitors can use Craigslist advertising:

* Sell products on Craigslist

* Search for a new job or fill a position with Craigslist

* Promote your business with Craigslist

* Find potential dates with Craigslist

While these are four of the more popular options for using Craigslist advertising they don’t begin to cover all the aspects and potential of Craigslist. Hopefully readers of this article will be encouraged to take a further look at Craigslist so they can learn more about what the Craigslist advertising community has to offer.

Sell Products With Craigslist

New or used items can be sold through Craigslist advertising . Just about anything under the sun can be found for sale here and everything thing can be posted into a category. Craigslist is easy to use, as all you have to do is advertise you item in the property category, supply a description of the item as well as a desired price and wait for a buyer. There are also categories for people to advertise for items they are looking for along with things they are offering for free. While you can sell almost anything on Craiglist there are some types of items that cannot be advertised on the website. For example you can’t sell firearms in the section for sporting goods and you cannot offer pornographic items in the section for CDs/DVDs/VHSs.

Find A Job Or Fill A Position With Craigslist

Finding jobs with Craigslist advertising is one of the key uses of the site. There are many job listings a person can browse through by selecting a general category and location. The search feature is handy for refining the search for a job. The search criteria can be used to determine whether the position is a telecommute job, part time, a contract position, an internship or any other type of job or position.

Craigslist advertising will also allow small business owners and human resources departments to ask for resumes for positions they have open. Companies posting job openings in the right Craigslist category will normally receive a large amount of responses.

Promote Your Business with Craigslist

Business promotion with Craigslist is also one the more popular uses. If you are a small business or a big corporation you can take advantage of Craigslist free advertising to both promote business and find new customers. Craigslist advertising has a section that offers services where business owners can place free advertisements. By breaking this section down into a number of categories Craigslist has made it possible for a business to find the best location to reach their potential target customers. Although there is a section for small business ads, it will probably be better to use the appropriate categories to ensure being found by the most interested job seekers.

Joining Craigslist discussion forums and making helpful comments or answering question accurately while placing a link to a business site will also help drive traffic to your ebusiness site. Take care while doing this to avoid posts which could be considered spam as Craigslist takes a dim view of spam.

Find A Date with Craigslist

While Craigslist advertising can be a useful place to find potential dates there are some strict restrictions which are enforced in the personals section. You must be over 18 to use this category and most importantly Craigslist does not allow individuals to impersonate another individual in a personals advertisement. You’ll find a number of categories to choose from when you place an advertisement in the Craigslist personals section. Some of these categories include advertisers looking for platonic relationships as well as romantic ones. You can also look for missed connections and other types of relationship scenarios.

As was mentioned before these are just a few ways Craigslist can help you advertise. Craigslist is likely the biggest and most powerful advertising bargain to be found in the world. All but a few categories are free and if you play by their rules you can sell or buy something, find a job or position, fill a position, promote your business or get a date with Craigslist’s help and the best part is the price is definitely right.

Remember the old adage “Out of sight is out of mind”. Starting an online business is easy, but making it a success is another story. It requires regular efforts to make a business successful. Just as with a traditional business, you cannot expect to start a business and expect customers to walk in from the first day itself. The business needs to be established slowly and steadily with good products, excellent service, and most important – advertising. For a traditional business there are many ways of advertising including word of mouth publicity, billboards, fliers, newspaper ads, freebies, etc. In the same way, an online business too requires online advertising. Advertising on the Internet for your online business need not be expensive. It all depends on how much you believe in your product or service, how much you have budgeted for advertising, and how much you expect to earn from the business in the future. There are options available for affordable online advertising and even free online advertising.

Advertising on the Internet includes placing banner ads and text links on high traffic sites, through Emails, ads in Emails, Newsletters, video ads, Google Ad words, etc. An entrepreneur or a business with an online business can start with Google Ad words to get customers from Search Engine rankings, but this form of advertising is not enough. Along with Google Ad words, other forms of online advertising too should be included. Banner ads are a very good form of affordable online advertising on the Internet. Banner ads can be designed and placed on websites, which have high traffic with thousands of visitors every day. If the cost is prohibitive, then the banner ads can be placed on websites with lower traffic and rates for placing the banner ads.

The management of online advertising is a tedious task and while companies can afford to appoint a person to manage the advertising, it may not be possible for an individual or entrepreneur to spend time and efforts on contacting and communicating with each and every website to place ads and links on their site. The solution is to search for a company that can manage the advertising and provide affordable online advertising packages. There are many companies that provide advertising services with a network of sites and that to at an affordable rate. Some companies and membership sites also provide free online advertising by registering for free and becoming a member of the growing community of entrepreneurs and website owners who can avail of the benefits of free advertising.

An entrepreneur or company can contact other members and request placement of their banner ads and text links in return for placing the members banners and text links on their site, for free. Some members may also provide affordable online advertising for a small fee instead of reciprocal ad exchange. So if you are a company or an entrepreneur with an online business and web presence and are keen on online advertising to make your business a success, you can become a member for free and start your advertising campaign.

The usage of Internet is increasing and so is its efficiency, as an advertising medium. It has become more effective with the concept of online advertising network. The advertising done through an extensive medium is sure to observe considerable responses. Now, organizations are getting more conscious about using Internet advertising for promoting products and services. This is because of the growth they see in associating with the dotcom arena. Such an advertising system has an efficacy to achieve target users that use Internet for various reasons.

Placing advertisements through an online advertising network is quite useful because of the sizeable advantages it has. The advertisements are published over a large group of publisher websites. These publisher websites may be into activities like social interactions, portals, blogging or merely spreading information related to sectors like banking, finance etc. These activities generate content, which is relevant with the theme of website. Such publisher websites are organized for achieving popularity among the users.

The websites working under an online advertising network grow with promotional strategies of the agencies coordinating it. This makes the network aligned towards development and extends reach to a large number of users. Now, these users are target audience for the advertisers. Considering the UK online market scenario, Internet and Radio comes after Television in terms of user response towards advertising (BMRB). This fact makes it clear that Internet usage and reliability is picking up among the users. Similarly, advertisers are too getting aware about the potentials of this medium.

According to a data from e-Consultancy, online ad spends increased by 47% to £ 2,016 million. This increase is a clear indication of growing efficiency of online advertising. The utility of online advertising network is also a factor that contributes to this growth. This system has enabled advertisers to use economical advertising. At the same time, this type of advertising is effective too. Such kind of promotional setup is driven with the power of network.

The advertisers can use the online advertising network, by appointing an agency that deals in Internet advertising. An efficient collaboration will lead the advertisement campaigns in the right direction that targets potential customers.
